Connect and test

Set up Instagram in three checks.

    Connect an eligible Instagram Business or Creator account to a Facebook Page.

  2. 2

    Set up the Instagram app, permissions, callback address, and public media address.

  3. 3

    Choose the Instagram account during sign-in and test each format with it.

Known limits

What can still block a post.

  • OpenPost does not support text-only Instagram posts.
  • Media must be public HTTPS and meet Meta format rules.
  • App access and each planned format still need a live account test.

Account requirement: An Instagram Business or Creator account connected to a Facebook Page.

Verification: Test each planned format—feed, carousel, Story, and Reel—because one successful format does not prove the others.

Use the current callback address, permissions, and media setup.
