Connect and test
Set up Bluesky in three checks.

- 2
Connect with your handle and that app password, not your main password.
- 3
Publish a test if you plan to use video or rich links.
Known limits
What can still block a post.
- Video must be MP4 and cannot be combined with images.
- App passwords can be revoked independently from the main account password.
- Bluesky may need time to process a video after upload.
Account requirement: A Bluesky handle and a dedicated app password.
Verification: Text and image posts work in OpenPost. Test video with the account before a scheduled campaign.
Use the current callback address, permissions, and media setup.
Social network developer pages change. The OpenPost guide lists the settings and checks you need now.
